Hotel California

It had central location close to a Renaissance palace. I appreciated good restaurant. All the staff was especially helpful and efficient, resolved my issues.

Compact and new-fashioned unit with a cosy decor.

All the rooms are compact with 4 beds and the staff is very good. The location is stunning and amazing, it's just off the historical centre. There's Trattoria Mario located close to the hotel, recommend to try food there.

Fairly clean, great family run hotel, I thoroughly enjoyed functional and compact rooms and very good staff. I had amazing food for breakfast with nice view of Florence. The venue had a very central position close to restaurant, and the Duomo and the other points of interest. Also, a l-shaped square was easy to reach.

This was a quite comfortable stay for 3 nights. Marvellous location not far from the centre of historic area as well as Duomo, I felt safe. Plus it was 5 mins drive from Fortezza da Basso - Gardens.

Clean hotel in a marvellous location with beautiful views over the Cathedral. Generous sized and compact room, renovated bathroom with a bidet. Location short walk to the train station, and the Academia museum. All in all good value.

The room was generous-sized and compact and it had a hairdryer, a bidet, and a walk-in shower, that's cool. The food was amazing - I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We enjoyed spending 2 nights here. The place was fairly clean and we loved small room. The breakfast was particularly nice with fruit, nice view of Florence plus meat, the staff was kind.

The location was perfect, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a 15th - century Dominican church. Appreciated our beautifully decorated room with a superb view on the catedral and the ancient-style building.

Incredible base for exploring Florence. Clean place in ancient style with all necessary facilities.

Beds were quite hard.

The breakfast was fine with yogurt, scrambled eggs and nice view of Florence, exactly what we required. The location was marvellous and good, not very far from a medieval cathedral.

Everything was great, amazing service, great location adjacent to the tram, Duomo, train station and the train station. Kind, lovely staff with smiling face.

Efficient staff, panoramic views of the cathedral, everything is excellent. The breakfast is fine with a wide array of food. The room is functional and new-fashioned with beautiful decor.

the hotel met what was needed, i would stay here again. clean place and perfect location, enjoyed genuinely helpful and efficient staff. small room i stayed at was nicely decorated with 4 beds. a hairdryer, a bidet and a walk-in shower were available there.

Very rude staff!

Nice stay, we were there for 1 day. It was clean, the staff was great, plus the service was incredible! Location: the hotel was just off the Duomo and the Academie, old Florence, and the attractions in Florence. It also was near the center.
