Grand Hotel Minerva

Everything was first-class, had a good stay on a 2 day visit. The hotel was set in a very central area close to the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Uffuzi and Mercato Centrale, most major attractions and the plaza during both day and night. Moreover, it was 5 km from Colnbrook West.

Gorgeous very central location near to Florence's famous churches, many great restaurants, shopping, and the historic sites of Florence and the hotel-adjoining plaza and church. We stayed for 4 nights here, loved Florence Historic Centre district. The breakfast was large - a huge variety of meals - fruit, bread, cereals, pastries, and eggs.

I was here for 3 nights and ate at authentic restaurant for dinner. Appreciated exceptional views and wake-up service, available when you need it. It was a marvellous and incredible location near the Uffizi/Ponte Vecchio, museums, restaurants and beautiful piazzas and Minerva / Florence.

The hotel was in the very central setting within walking distance of most sights.

Views were not so great.

The breakfast was large and free for vegetarians: you could find fruit, bread, cereals, pastries, and eggs. All in all room was generous sized; also provided ainfall shower.

The staff was well-trained and the room excellent quality and top-notch. Perfect location exactly where we wanted to be close to a train station. Moreover, the area was very nice.

The room is very well furnished and big size with a pleasant view especially at sunset. The location is very central, really close to Santa Maria Novella church as well as all tourist sites in Florence.

The place is fairly clean and modest. Make sure you stay in the comfort triple room with the window opened. The authentic restaurant is comfortable for dinner. It offers good service. Thank you very much for a very nice stay - will be returning here soon.

It offers stunning, awesome location. The junior suite is unique and huge. The breakfast has absolutely fantastic options: fresh bread, bacon, pastries, and eggs.

Nice hot breakfast selection, slices of fresh bread, cereal, pastries, and eggs. Good sized bed in the premium queen room, plus so many space, excellent air conditioning, and a lounge area. Magnificent location to San Lorenzo market in 2 minutes, and good sized bedrooms.

The bed was extremely comfy, the room was generous sized and contemporary with a bed. The staff was immensely pleasant and incredibly welcoming all that time.

Recently refurbished and generous sized room with magnificent views, a balcony, a mini-bar, and free Wi-Fi. Lots of meals for breakfast, including fruit, bread, cereal, pastries, and eggs.

It features modern and airy rooms with shower, a super view, as example. The location is wonderful and stunning, in front of the train station.

Fairly clean and delightful place and the breakfast was incredible. Bread, bacon, pastries, and eggs were lovely, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Junior suite was updated and huge had hypoallergenic pillows and down pillows. Every staff member was fast and courteous.

Everything was exceptional, accommodating staff, stunning location so close to the Piazza Santa Maria Novella which is a nice and quiet plaza in the city, starred eateries, and main city attractions. The breakfast had a lot of food, including great slices of fresh bread, pastries, yoghourt, and eggs.

Unique, beautifully designed unit with sofa bed and a view fromm the downstairs bedroom directly over the Piazza plus the patio. Fantastic very central location, close enough to Florence over the Christmas holiday and the train station and bus station.

Can't recommend highly enough this place and would stay here again and again. Incredible and wonderful location, we were metres from centre of the city. Average Cigna Beerhouse served dishes within 500 metres off the hotel. The service was very good, the breakfast was extensive and hot.

Fairly clean hotel with nice staff. Continental breakfast with cheeses and different breads. Updated & big size room, two TVs, a lounge, and a safe box in there. Awesome, brilliant location in Florence, short walk to the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, in downtown, the Piazza San Lorenzo and the main shopping streets around the Piazza della Republica and the Uffizi / Ponte Vecchio.

The room was fashionable, decent sized & had an extremely comfy bed.

Enjoyed our nice stay there a lot. The hotel was fabulous and clean, overlooked the roof top. It had marvellous and good location with access to a distinguished monument nearby. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. All the services were friendly. Besides, parking was available in front of the venue.

I was there for 2 nights and ate at rooftop restaurant with its refined cuisine. The view was remarkable here and the staff were well-trained people at the reception desk.

The hotel was fairly clean with extensive and good hot breakfasts. The location was magnificent and incredible, at a short distance from a 15th-century Renaissance mansion. The area was really beautiful short walk to main railway station, and an almost traffic free square, the beautiful piazza Santa Maria Novella. Because of a problem with premium room we were upgraded and had a top-notch room.

Booked a newly renovated and generous-sized room with an imperfect view, a very nice view on Firenze plus a double bed. Nice variety of fruit, breads, cereal, pastries and eggs for breakfast.

Magnificent location really close to the cathedral and duomo, the many attractions in Florence and all the other major sites the Duomo, San Lorenzo, the river, only 5 minutes walk from a fortress palace. Outstanding choice of fresh bread, cereals, pastries, and eggs for a continental breakfast. Top-class, always attentive people working here.

The daily service was very good! The setting was quite magnificent and beautiful within easy reach of a 15th - century Dominican church.

I got generous sized and contemporary room, it was included with 2 singles beds, a balcony, a fabulous view of the Duomo. The location was marvellous, for example, an octagonal baptistery was just a short walk away from the hotel.

The location of the hotel was great and brilliant - relatively near Church of Santo Spirito. The breakfast included breads, pastries, yoghourt and eggs, overall it was abundant and perfect.

This stylish, clean property has abundant continental breakfasts and affable stuff. I have stayed in the premium room with excellent air-conditioning, plenty space and 2 televisions.

It was a nice stay on a recent Italian vacation. The location was magnificent and brilliant, and we could reach Church of Santa Maria Novella by walking.

Lots of food for breakfast, which was appetising to satisfy everyone. The service was EXCELLENT with parking nearby. The location was awesome, not too far from a terminus railway station. We dined at a nice nearby restaurant with local dishes.
